Job Description

Job Title: Painter (Mid-level to Advanced)

Reports To: Lead Painter or Crew Leader

Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and skilled painters, ranging from mid-level to journeymen, to join our dynamic team. Our painters are responsible for executing a variety of painting-related tasks with precision and efficiency. This role is ideal for individuals who have completed apprenticeships or possess equivalent experience and are looking to further their career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Surface Preparation: Efficiently prepare surfaces for painting, which includes cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying primers.
  2. Painting: Perform painting tasks using various techniques and tools, ensuring a high-quality finish. This may involve working with different types of paints and coatings on various surfaces.
  3. Set Up and Clean Up: Organize and set up painting equipment and materials. Responsible for cleaning up the work area and equipment post-job completion.
  4. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members, under the guidance of the Lead Painter or Crew Leader.
  6. Apprentice Training: Assist in the training and development of Apprentice Painters, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the required standards and client specifications.
  8. Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of painting equipment.

Qualifications:

  • 3-8 Years experience
  • Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
  • Able to commute to job sites using personal vehicle.
  • Good physical condition and stamina; comfortable with working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and tools.
  • Able to travel throughout King County, WA and stay for full day.

Compensation: $23 – $30 / hour based on experience
