Job Description

Job Title: Details / Touch-up Specailist

Reports To: Lead Painter or Crew Leader

As a Detailer/Touch-Up Specialist, you will be responsible for the final inspection and perfection of our painting projects. This role includes performing detailed touch-ups, managing the close-out phase, and executing post-millwork clean-up, ensuring every home we paint is finished flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed inspections to identify areas needing touch-ups or finishing touches.
  • Perform high-quality touch-ups on painted surfaces to meet our exacting standards.
  • Manage the close-out process, ensuring all painting work is complete and up to client expectations.
  • Execute thorough post-millwork clean-up, including dust removal and final touch-ups.
  • Organize and maintain painting tools and materials, ensuring readiness for touch-up and clean-up tasks.
  • Work with project managers and crews to ensure a seamless close-out and handover process.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in paint detailing and touch-up work, ideally in new construction or residential settings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple project stages.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions.
  • Proficient in color matching and applying various paint finishes.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Compensation: Hourly wage of $23 to $26, based on experience and qualifications.
